Anne Lappé is an award-winning author and educator, known for her book Diet for a Hot Planet and her work as an expert on food systems and as a sustainable food advocate. She will be speaking on food and climate change, with a discussion period moderated by The Perennial's co-founder Karen Leibowitz (co-author of Atelier Crenn and Mission Street Food books).
The ticket includes a draft cocktail, wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverage from the bar at The Perennial, honored for Best Cocktails by San Francisco Magazine and as a Best New Restaurant in America by GQ.
This event will launch The Perennial's new event + podcast series, "Root Matters" (available here).
